Kings’ Arthur Kaliyev Out Indefinitely With Broken Clavicle
Zach Dooley, the Kings’ manager of editorial content, reports that Kaliyev broke his clavicle on Friday and will be sidelined indefinitely.
9/21: According to Mayor’s Manor, Kings winger Arthur Kaliyev will be sidelined for “a significant amount of time” following an upper-body injury he suffered during a scrimmage on Friday.
After undergoing additional testing this morning to determine the extent of the injury, Kaliyev is expected to make an official announcement from the team later on Saturday.
The 23-year-old Kaliyev left yesterday’s scrimmage after defenseman Kyle Burroughs hit him in the corner. He had joined Trevor Lewis and Akil Thomas in a fourth-line capacity at the start of training camp.
The second-round pick in 2019 signed a one-year contract after spending the majority of the offseason as a restricted free agent.
